Ideal for the at-home crafter or a jewelry-make looking to expand their medium. During this course we will discuss the various mold materials used for jewelry making and cover how to create molds suited to the purpose of smaller jewelry items. We will also look at imbedding objects in clear or coloured plastic resins. Some of the hands on work will include colouring clear plastic resin and pouring it into molds.

Mold Making Techniques

In Part Two of this course we will discuss the various materials that can be used in jewelry design and construction. To demonstrate the intricacies of jewelry design and creation with resins and plastics, the hands on work during this course will include making some molds and will also introduce the multi-part pour to layer various colours and items within the piece.
